A Dutch military aircraft flying to Kabul postponed its landing due to "conditions at the airport," the Dutch Defense Ministry said.

This is due to the conditions at the airport, ”the message says.

According to Defense Minister Ankh Beyleveld, the plane was supposed to evacuate translators, local embassy personnel and families from Kabul.

Earlier, the Bild edition reported that a military plane from Germany could not land in Kabul due to the congestion of people on the runway.

On the morning of August 16, AFP, citing eyewitnesses, reported that the US military began firing warning shots into the air after a large crowd broke into the airfield at Kabul airport.

Seven people were killed in the chaos at the airport, according to the Associated Press.
