The United States calls on all parties to the conflict in Armenia to exercise restraint and believes that the military should not interfere in the country's internal politics. This was stated by the head of the press service of the US State Department Ned Price.

“We urge all parties to exercise restraint and avoid any action that could lead to escalation, as well as avoid violence,” Price said.

On the morning of February 25, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia demanded Pashinyan's resignation.

After that, the Prime Minister of Armenia called the statement of the General Staff calling for his resignation an attempt at a military coup.
