Congestion during Christmas shopping: "Irresponsible, but it has been normalized"

Despite strict restrictions from the region's infection control doctors, a lot of people were crowded in central Gothenburg during the Christmas shopping on Saturday. - In some stores it is impossible to keep your distance, says Sami Modaresi.


Even more people buy their presents online and the queues are long to the postmen, so there were still many who went out on the town to shop for Christmas.

- It feels like it is a bit irresponsible to go to town, but there are still so many who do it so it has been normalized, says Maximilian Falkenland.
