When it became clear that Joe Biden had won against Donald Trump, you didn't need sensitive meteorological measuring devices to register the collective sigh of relief of the German elite.
Such unanimity must always be suspicious.
In Germany, Biden would have won with 90 percent;
in the US he got 50.8 percent.
The difference needs to be explained.
