Dodon leads the elections in Moldova after processing 52% of ballots

The incumbent leader of Moldova, Igor Dodon, leads with 36.07% of the votes in the presidential elections in the republic after processing 52% of the ballots.


This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the data of the Moldovan CEC.

The leader of the Action and Solidarity party, former Prime Minister of Moldova Maia Sandu, is gaining 30.64% of the vote and is currently in second place.

Earlier, voting in the presidential election ended in Moldova.

The turnout was 42.74%.

The CEC of Moldova reported that the presidential elections in the country were recognized as valid.
