The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the world has exceeded 30 million, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.


According to the university, most of the detected cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the United States.

More than 943 thousand people have died with COVID-19 worldwide.

The total number of recovered exceeded 20 million 398 thousand.

Earlier, a virologist, Chief Researcher of the Gamaleya Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Doctor of Medical Sciences Anatoly Altstein, in an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, commented on the situation with COVID-19 in the world.
