Harru Maguire was ousted from the England Nations League squad after being convicted of three crimes in Greece. But next month he is welcome back. It strikes league captain Gareth Southgate. - It has been a really tough time for him, he says.

In August, Harry Maguire was taken into custody by police on the Greek island of Syros.

He was brought to justice and sentenced to a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days for violent resistance, aggravated assault and attempted bribery.

Because of this, he was removed from the England Nations League squad for this collection.

However, he is welcome back to the collection in October, says the English national team captain Gareth Southgate.

- It has been a really tough time for him and I think the last few days have been very important for him to be able to relax and get away from all the attention. I think he needed that time to relax. He will now return to his club and we will definitely be able to take him out in October, Southgate told English media last night.
