Russian fighter intercepted a US reconnaissance aircraft over the Baltic Sea - video

On August 28, Russian airspace control devices over the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea detected three air targets approaching the state border of the Russian Federation. For their identification, the Su-27 was raised into the air. The Russian fighter's crew identified the aerial targets as the US Air Force RC-135 strategic reconnaissance aircraft, the Swedish Air Force's Gulf Stream reconnaissance aircraft and the Danish Air Force's Challenger reconnaissance aircraft. Foreign aircraft turned away from the Russian border, and the Su-27 returned to the home airfield. The flight took place strictly in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace, no violation of the Russian state border was allowed.
