89% of medical students applying for national examination cancellation... National Council "Enforcement on schedule"

The Korea National Health and Medical Examination Institute announced on the 26th that the 85th National Medical Examination Practical Test in 2021 will be implemented from September 1st as announced. The Korea National Institute of Health and Medical Examination (hereinafter referred to as the National Institute of Health) announced on the 26th that the 85th National Medical Examination Practical Exam in 2021 will be implemented from September 1st as announced.

As of 6pm on August 25th due to the decision of the Korea Medical University Graduate School of Medicine Student Association to refuse to take the doctor's practical exam, 2,823 (89%) of the 3,172 doctors' practical exam applicants applied for cancellation and refund Submitted to the National Council.

The National Council said, "Because we were unable to verify the authenticity of the applicant's cancellation of the examination individually, we will cancel the final examination after reconfirming the applicant's identity and intent to cancel, and refund the examination fee."

The Ministry of Health and Welfare said at a briefing explaining the medical strike response policy that day, "we will respond in principle to the national examination for medical students."

The doctor's practical test will be held for 35 days from September 1st to October 27th at the Kuksiwon Practical Test Center in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
