Two small planes collided in Alaska

In Alaska, two small planes collided in the air near the airport in Soldotna. State Representative Harry Knopp was killed, Anchorage Daily News reports.


The Havilland DHC-2 Beaver and Piper Aztec planes were involved in an accident, they collided about 3 km from the airport at 08:30 local time (19:00 Moscow time), the newspaper writes.

The number of passengers and victims was not specified.

Earlier, a small Piper 32 plane crashed in a residential area in West Jordan, Utah, with six people on board.
