Shortly after eight o'clock on Friday evening, an alarm was received about a jet ski accident outside a campsite in Ramsvik in Sotenäs municipality. It is a jet ski and a smaller leisure boat that collided with each other.
- There are two people who must have traveled on the jet ski when the accident occurred and one must have gone into the water and lost consciousness. But the rescue service and the ambulance were quickly in place, says Hans Lippens, spokesman for the police in the West region.
At 9.40 pm on Friday evening, the police announced that the injured person was a man in his 50s. An ambulance on site performs CPR but his life could not be saved. The deceased man was taken by ambulance helicopter to NÄL and the police heard witnesses on the spot.
Relatives were present and informed.
The other person who traveled on the jet ski must have survived without serious injuries.
