The Wall Street Journal, citing its sources, reports that the US authorities have threatened the commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA) Khalifa Haftar with sanctions because he allegedly obstructs oil supplies from Libya.

Writes about this TASS.

The material indicates that Washington "threatened Haftar with sanctions because of his refusal to resume oil exports."

According to the American side, the threat of restrictions may affect the LNA commander, since he allegedly has property in the United States, in particular, real estate in the US state of Virginia.

Earlier, Haftar announced his intention to expel Turkish troops from Libya.
