Lebanon has experienced unprecedented inflation for the past few months. Thousands of families, who nevertheless belonged to the middle class, must now appeal to the generosity of associations, such as that of al-Achrafieh in Beirut, for food. But the latter are sounding the alarm, if no action is taken by the authorities, they will soon no longer be able to help people in need.
