Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte urged his countrymen not to blame the government if they contract Corona virus if they do not abide by the restrictions, which have been eased in an effort to boost the economy.
In a televised address the day before yesterday, Duterte said: “If you accompany your child when leaving, or allow your children to go out to a place not yet ready for them to be outside and get sick, do not blame us.”
"Don't forget, we warned you of the dire consequences," he added.
