Sweden meets: Direct - Section 5

The manifestations and riots in the United States after George Floyd's death have spread throughout the world. We collect votes on location in the US and in Sweden. How do the events in the US affect the Swedish debate? Is there racism in the Swedish police force? And is it right to demonstrate during the corona pandemic? This weekend a demonstration was held in Gothenburg to support the Black Lives Matter movement. When it was to dissolve, riot and clash broke out between youth and police. The program will include Murphy Alex, one of the protesters who also tried to stop young people who smashed shop windows and threw stones at the police. The studio also includes Hanif Bali (M), Nadime Ghazale police, Teyzir Subhi (FI), Michael Popoola, from the BLM movement and Lars Trägårdh, professor. We also have SVT correspondent Stefan Åsberg with us.
