The World Cup start in speedway continues to be pushed forward. The next organizer forced to throw in the towel is the UK's GP in Cardiff, which will be fully set in 2020 and will only run in 2021.

The race in the Welsh capital would have been run on July 18 and premiered in the delayed World Cup series, but the competition is canceled due to the corona pandemic, according to a press release from speedway GP.

Now suddenly Hallstavik can run the World Cup premiere, that competition is now only in the World Cup calendar and is scheduled to be decided on July 25. But there is great uncertainty about that competition as well.

Elitspeedway Sweden (EES) recently made the decision to suspend the plans for an elite start in June and hope for a start either in July or August 11.
