Potentially useful antibodies found in Canada for COVID-19 drug

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Canadian scientists have found antibodies that are thought to help create a drug for coronavirus infection, COVID-19.

“They (scientists. - RT ) have discovered antibodies that can be used in drugs to treat this virus,” he said.

At the same time, Trudeau added that the Canadian authorities intend to allocate more than $ 120 million to the company conducting a prospective study related to COVID-19.

According to the prime minister, clinical trials of the developed medicine can begin in July.

Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the number of cases of coronavirus infection with COVID-19 in the world.
