One team that stands out at the top of this year's audience barometer is Brynäs, up five places to a 14th place, 6,104 per match an increase of 17 percent despite the club finishing in 12th place in the basic series. "It feels extremely gratifying and I feel a gratitude for those who have worked so well with our events in detail," says Michael Campese, club director Brynäs, to SVT Sport.

13 of 14 SHL clubs are included in the top 30 of the audience barometer and 12 of 14 SHL clubs show a positive audience development.

Brynäs may not have quite met what they had hoped for in sports. A 12th place in the basic series meant missed playoffs. Admittedly, there was no endgame for any team due to the spread of the corona virus. But the home section for Brynäs indicates that it might have gone better sporting.

- We have changed our pricing strategy, worked a lot on the themes of the matches and then worked on people pulling people. We have set our goal that 24 hours before a match, we will have 5,000 tickets sold and we have succeeded in all matches except one, says Michael Campese, club director Brynäs, to SVT Sport.

"Then we need to adjust other costs"

It is a special time in the world right now with the onset of the ongoing pandemic. The ice hockey SM finals were canceled and much is uncertain when and to what extent the restrictions will ease.

- It is safe to play a number of rounds without an audience, but if it takes time one to two months from September, say that there would be games with the audience in November / December, then it is a little problem, we can only ascertain. And then we need to adjust other costs along the way, it is no talk if it gets then we are in the same boat as any other organization, says Michael Campese, club director Brynäs, to SVT Sport.
