Mishustin instructed to begin work on the introduction of drones on the roads

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin to the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia by May 12 to develop a set of measures for testing and phased commissioning of vehicles without the presence of a test engineer in the cabin.


The corresponding order is published on the website of the Cabinet.

“With the participation of interested organizations and representatives of the scientific and technological business community, with the participation of interested organizations and representatives of the scientific and technological business community, the Ministry of Transport of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the Ministry of Industry of Russia, and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia to develop a set of measures for testing and phased commissioning of highly automated vehicles on the public roads without the presence of a test engineer inside the vehicle, ”the text says.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin instructed the cabinet to develop a set of measures for the phased introduction of vehicles on the roads without the presence of a test engineer in the cabin.
