On Tuesday, the government presented several new measures to help Swedish companies during the corona crisis. According to Mats Knutson, the measures can be seen as a response to the criticism that the government has not done enough. "The government has received criticism, from the opposition, economists and employers that they are not doing enough. This package could be seen as a response to it," says Mats Knutson, SVT's internal political commentator.
Mats Knutson also believes that more support packages are waiting during the corona crisis, as the situation is as uncertain as it is.
- I do not think the discussion will end, we are already looking at the reactions that there are those who want more far-reaching measures, such as the Swedish Enterprise, says Mats Knutsson.
