The second maternity hospital in St. Petersburg was quarantined due to a possible coronavirus infection in one of the patients, the city’s Health Committee said.


“Maternity hospital №10 is closed for new patients. One of the patients has a suspicion of COVID-19, ”the press service quotes RIA Novosti.

The woman was transferred to the C.P. Clinical Infectious Diseases Hospital Botkin.

All employees and patients of the hospital will be tested for coronavirus.

At the same time, restrictive measures were also introduced in maternity hospital No. 16 after infection of a new coronavirus infection was confirmed in one of the women in labor with pneumonia.
