As the 2019-2020 ski season could not be completed as planned, the Swedish ski association chose to round off with a virtual skating race of 15 kilometers. One of the standings was national team star Charlotte Kalla - who has now competed for this year.

“The 19/20 competition season is over for me. I went virtual skiing on fantastic conditions on the southern mountain, ”the 32-year-old writes on social media.

The result in the track, outside Kalla's hometown of Sundsvall, was recorded via the mobile phone or a training watch with an app.

Participants have until 12 o'clock on Sunday to finish the virtual race, which will be run at any location on snow in the country, and must report their results before 13 o'clock.

The World Cup ended when the national team ended the season in the US and Canada in mid-March. However, the contests were stopped because of the corona virus outbreak.
