Dance band star Janne Landegren first played in the band Telstars before being recruited to Ingmar Nordströms in 1979. Janne Landegren also competed as a solo artist in the Melodifestivalen 1977.
He had health problems for several years and an infection of the bone deteriorated his health. He died in hospital in the suites of the infection.
- It was a wonderful guy, we had many happy years together. He was always cheerful and happy, we have laughed a lot together, the orchestra leader Ingmar Nordström tells Expressen.
