The NHL draft is postponed

3/25/2020, 9:39:39 PM

With the prevailing host situation with the continued spread of the corona virus, the NHL announces that the annual draft, where the teams are playing players, is postponed. It was scheduled to be held on June 26-27. When it gets rid of it is still unclear.

"The details of when, how and where the draft will be held in 2020 will be announced when it is determined," the NHL writes on its website.

This means that the Swedish players, Alexander Holtz and Lucas Raymond, who are expected to go high in the draft, have to wait to find out which team will make them.

The big poster name, Alexis Lafrenière, who is expected to go first in the draft, has seen his season end prematurely, with the junior league in Canada canceling the rest of the season. He scored 35 goals and 112 points in 52 games this year.
