Ten days ago, Swedish handball goalkeeper Mikael Appelgren was told that he had been affected by the corona virus. Now he and the rest of his German team, Rhein-Neckar Löwen, are in quarantine. Now Appelgren gets to do the training at home in the apartment. - Yesterday I trained on the balcony. I jumped jump rope and drove strength, ”Appelgren told SVT Sport.

Large parts of his team have been infected by coronavirus, covid-19 and in Germany a ban has been announced on people gathering with more than two people.

- I've had muscle and joint pain, headaches, my sinuses have been aching and I've had a cough, says Appelgren to SVT Sport.

Appelgren admits that he is not worried about himself but the people in his surroundings.

- Although I do not have such strong symptoms, and could walk and shop, I can spread it further which is not good in the end.

Does the handball still feel important?

- It is important to overlook that, right now, it is about reducing the spread of infection and protecting those who are at risk. This is an important responsibility and we must show solidarity.
