CNN: US military banned from traveling for 60 days

The head of the Pentagon, Mark Esper, by decree banned the US military from any movement abroad for a period of 60 days in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.


According to CNN, such a decision will affect about 90 thousand planned deployments, including those aimed at the return of military personnel to their homeland.

Earlier it became known that the number of infected with coronavirus infection COVID-19 in the United States reached 53,660.

Also, coronavirus was diagnosed in three US Navy personnel aboard the American nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt.
