Czech authorities impose a nationwide quarantine due to COVID-19

Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babish announced a nationwide quarantine until March 24 due to the spread of the coronavirus infection COVID-19.


“The Czech government announced a nationwide quarantine until March 24,” the Expats.cz website said.

It is specified that at this time the free movement of citizens with the exception of travel to work and for food will be limited.

Earlier, the Czech authorities banned all citizens from leaving the country, and also banned all foreigners from entering it,
