At least 15 people died in an oil pipeline explosion in Nigeria

At least 15 people were victims of an explosion in a section of an oil pipeline in the city of Abul Ado in Nigeria. This was reported by the Vanguard newspaper, citing data from the National Emergency Management Agency.


It is noted that as a result of the accident at least 60 people were injured.

In addition, over 50 buildings were damaged by the explosion and the ensuing fire.

In May 2019, several powerful oil tanker explosions were reported at the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.
