U.S. President Donald Trump said the White House is considering introducing entry restrictions for citizens from countries where there has been a sharp increase in cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

“Yes, we are considering,” TASS quotes his answer to the corresponding question.

Trump noted that countries that have a “sharper increase” in COVID-19 infection can be subject to restrictions. The American leader did not say which states are in question.

Earlier, WHO reported that cases of coronavirus infection with COVID-19 were recorded in 65 countries.
