Employees of the Oceanographic Park of Valencia conducted an emergency operation on a seahorse to save his life. Surgical intervention was required after, during the birth of the fry, a leathery pocket fell out in which he carried the offspring. Thanks to the work of specialists, the animal is now fully recovered. Seahorses are one of the few species of fish in which males hatch eggs.
