EU, in 10 years wages decreased by 2%

0.01 The remuneration, the employer's social security contributions and the benefits per employee adjusted for inflation decreased in Italy by 2% in the period 2010-2019. This was announced by the European Trade Union Confederation. Average wages adjusted for inflation have fallen in 15 years by 15% in Greece, 7% in Cyprus, 5% in Croatia, 4% in Spain and Portugal. "EU leaders like to talk about but the crisis is not over for millions of workers," explained Ces Deputy secretary Esther Lynch.
