In Adygea, more than 65 thousand people were left without water

More than 65 thousand people were left without water supply due to a breakthrough in the Maikop water main. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for Adygea.


“As of 22:30 Moscow time, a breakthrough site for a water conduit on a 800 mm pipe was discovered. It is planned to make a replacement. Tentatively until 12:00 Moscow time on Sunday (January 19. - RT ) the repair work is planned to be completed, ”the agency reports to Interfax.

The agency’s source said that without water supply there are more than 12 thousand private and about 30 apartment buildings in which more than 65 thousand people live.

In December 2019, as a result of the accident at the Trinity group water main, more than 160 thousand residents of the Krasnodar Territory were left without water.
