Dozens of dead and hundreds injured: Kassem Suleimani’s funeral in Iran

The burial ceremony of the General of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Kassem Suleimani ended on January 7 in Iranian Kerman. Earlier, the country's authorities announced the postponement of the date of the funeral due to too many crowds in the funeral procession. In a stampede, at least 50 people died, about 200 were hospitalized. Nevertheless, by the end of the day, it was decided not to postpone the Suleymani burial ceremony.
