Mickey Mouse has long been the most recognizable rodent in the cinema. In pop culture, the mouse settled almost a century ago and during this time managed to achieve a lot, including getting its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, the Disney character has a lot of rivals among rats: the Lariska rat from puppet films about the crocodile Gena and Cheburashka, obsessed with the passion for cooking Remy from the Ratatouille tape and the master Splinter from the series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In anticipation of the coming year, RT has compiled a selection of the most famous movie rats.
