In the Kaluga region, three men drowned while fishing

In the Kuybyshevsky district of the Kaluga region, seven people fell under the ice on the lake while fishing, three of them died. This was reported in the regional headquarters of the Investigative Committee of Russia.


“Three people died as a result of the accident: these are three local residents - a 34-year-old man, his 62-year-old father and 52-year-old man,” the ministry said in a statement.

Four fishermen managed to escape.

Upon the fact of the incident, a procedural check has begun, investigators are working on the spot.

Earlier in the Ivanovo region, six fishermen and a child were evacuated from the ice floe.

The online publication "Susanin" also warned of the dangers of accessing ice on the ponds of Udmurtia.
