“The farewell ceremony with Maris Jansons will be held in the Great Hall of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic on December 5, beginning at 10:30,” the press service of the cultural institution said.
The Petersburg Philharmonic collective also expressed deep condolences to the family of the conductor.
Jansons will be buried next to his father on the Literary bridges in the Volkovsky cemetery in St. Petersburg.
Maris Jansons died on December 1 at the age of 76.
