Stepanova and Bukin took second place at the Grand Prix in Japan

Russians Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin took second place at the stage of the series of the Grand Prix in figure skating in the Japanese Sapporo.


According to the results of two rentals, the Russian duo scored 208.81 points - 84.07 for rhythmic and 124.74 for free dance. Thus, the Russians, taking two second places at the stages in the USA and Japan, won a ticket to the Grand Prix finals, which will be held in Italian Turin on December 5-8.

The victory was won by the French Gabriela Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron - 226.61 points. The top three winners were closed by Italians Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri, who scored 198.06 points.

Another Russian duet - Sofia Shevchenko and Igor Eremenko - took seventh place (178.08 points).

It was previously reported that Alena Kostornaya won the short program at the Grand Prix stage in Japan.
