Ten-year-old boy hit in central Gävle - police look for motorist as batter

A 10-year-old boy on a bicycle was hit by a motorist who departed from the scene of the accident during Wednesday afternoon. The boy was taken by ambulance to hospital. The police classified the incident as an infection.

The rescue service states that the boy suffered some injuries to his face and that he was taken to a hospital with an ambulance for further care.

The police classified the incident as an infection and are now looking for the driver.

- No one is currently suspected, but it is not allowed to deviate from an accident. We are now trying to find the driver, says Daniel Wikdahl, press officer at the police.
