Actress Catherine Deneuve, 76, was rushed to a Paris hospital after suffering from ill health last night, the French daily Le Parisien reported.
The newspaper added that Donov, a legend of French cinema, which is often described as the embodiment of French femininity in a "serious situation."
Known for its striking beauty and charming style, Donov became France's first actress and then one of the world's most famous stars in the 1960s.
