Tiger Woods, who is back after a knee surgery, continues to play strongly in the PGA Tour competition in Japan. Even after the third round, the American is at the top when he went around on 66 strokes - four under par.

Three strokes are Japan's Hideki Matsuyama. Another beat after Woods compatriot Gary Woodland is found.

After playing in front of a large audience, Woods and the others ended the third round completely without spectators as conditions were considered unsafe for the audience due to the wet weather.

The contest is drawn with delays in the game schedule as Friday rained away, and round three ended at noon on Sunday. Also round four is played during the day.
