Russia can help Japan in connection with typhoon Hagibis

A spokesman for Russian President Dmitry Peskov said the Russian side is ready to consider providing assistance to Japan in connection with the typhoon Hagibis in case of receipt of a corresponding appeal from the Japanese authorities.


“The President of Russia is always extremely attentive to such appeals, but so far there has been no appeal,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier it was reported that two people were killed and 77 were injured in Japan due to the typhoon Hagibis that hit the region.

On October 12, in Japan, for 9 million people, they announced or recommended an evacuation due to the typhoon.
