October 9, Ankara announced the start of the ground part of the military operation "Source of Peace" in northeast Syria.
Commenting on this operation, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that at the moment Russia will "seek the need to establish a dialogue between Turkey and the Syrian Arab Republic."
