A Fujairah Penal Court has acquitted an employee, in a quasi-government department, of disclosing work secrets.

The details of the case are that the complainant filed a criminal complaint with the Fujairah Public Prosecution, stating that an employee working as an executive secretary, by virtue of the nature of his work, was entrusted to some papers and used them, and disclosed them, although the regulations of the entity prohibit their use and submission to any other party.

The employee, before the court, said that the papers claimed by the complainant to disclose is a legal list is not considered secrets, and that the Department published earlier on the website, pointing out that the criminal communication is considered malicious by the concerned party, because of differences over his rights.
