St. Petersburg will host the Champions League final of 2021

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced that the final match of the Champions League season 2020/21 will be held in St. Petersburg.


The match will take place at the stadium of the Zenit football club - Gazprom Arena.

Russia will host the final of the European Cup tournament for the third time. In 1999, the Luzhniki Stadium determined the winner of the UEFA Cup, and in 2008 the Champions League final was held there.

Earlier it was reported that the RFU announced the absence of claims from FIFA, UEFA and WADA.
