“In October, the head of the Russian foreign affairs agency Sergey Lavrov is scheduled to visit Iraq,” RIA Novosti quoted Bogdanov as saying.
He also noted that the issue of organizing visits to Russia by the president and prime minister of Iraq is being studied.
In July, Lavrov in Moscow held talks with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Iraq, the head of the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq, Janine Hennis-Plasshart.
