Business magazine Week's business is closed down. Some parts of the newspaper's operations will be taken over by Dagens industri. - We do not see that Week's Business can offer an in-depth look at any selected niche, says Peter Fellman, Business Manager of the Di Group, to Dagens Nyheter.

The newspaper Week's business was founded in 1965 and has been regarded as one of the leading newspapers focusing on economics in Sweden. On Tuesday, it was clear that the magazine was wound up as its own title.

At the same time, some parts of VA's operations, including a CEO network and certain events such as the most powerful women in the business sector and Sweden's 101 super talents, will be taken over by today's industry.

- We do not see that Week's business can offer in-depth to any selected niche, and therefore it is logical to let those parts of Week's business offer that have been most successful become part of Dagens industry and the Di group, says Peter Fellman, editor-in-chief of Dagens industri , to Dagens Nyheter.

Negotiations with the union began on Wednesday.
