The plans were revealed in the Netflix pod Present Company with Krista Smith. There, Murphy says he plans to "get out on the roads in 2020 to drive up a bit".
Eddie Murphy made great success in the 80's with his stand-up specials Delirious and Raw. Whether his upcoming stand-up will be broadcast anywhere is not yet known.
Also on the film front, Eddie Murphy returns to his roots with a sequel to the 1980s classic A Prince in New York. The premiere is scheduled for next year.
