The Investigative Committee for the Rostov Region began a preliminary investigation of the Zolotograd hospital, in which doctors amputated the arm of 11-year-old Yegor Sazonov after treating a fracture. Earlier, the boy’s father said that due to improper treatment of the wound, the son began gangrene. To save Yegor’s life, he had to amputate his arm. In addition to investigators, a check at the institution is carried out by the regional Ministry of Health. According to experts, if it turns out that the doctors knew about the risk of blood poisoning, but did nothing, they would be held accountable.
