9/4/2019, 6:59:07 PM

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani announced on state television that Tehran will begin the third phase of reducing its obligations under the Joint Comprehensive Nuclear Program Action Plan on September 6.

It is reported by RIA Novosti.

“Since we did not achieve the desired results, the third step (to reduce obligations under the nuclear deal) will take the day after tomorrow,” he said.

According to him, a new reduction in obligations under the JCPOA implies conducting research activities that go beyond the Iranian nuclear deal.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi said that Tehran is ready to return to full compliance with the JCPOA, subject to a loan of $ 15 billion.

On September 1, Iran warned of a new reduction in its nuclear deal obligations if European countries did not take appropriate measures.
