British parliamentarians opposed to hard Brexit have published a bill that requires an extension of the term for leaving the European Union if an agreement with the European Union is not reached by October 31.

The document was published on Twitter by Labor MP Hilary Benn.

“The purpose of this bill is to ensure that the UK does not leave the EU on October 31 without an agreement, unless there is parliament’s approval,” he wrote.

The bill is planned to be submitted to parliament on Tuesday - the first day of its work after the summer holidays.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson opposed the holding of early elections.
